Congratulations Rovers

Judging by the message boards, I may upset a few fans with this. But I want to congratulate Rovers on getting to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a City fan all the way but as a City fan I feel we should extend a round of applause to our city neighbours for reaching as far as the did. They, along with ourselves have done themselves and the city of Bristol proud this season.

  As a Rovers suppporter (blogging The Champions League here) that means alot cheers. It does feel like an achievement really, and the scoreline today didn’t matter it was the occasion.

  Also, I’m sure I’m as much a Rovers man as you are City, but i’m not wound up about City looking so good in the Championship. In fact, its about time we had a team in the big time really. Even if it is you guys!

  Its a great time to be a Bristol football fan for once.
