Three valuable points on the road for City
By: Matt P | February 23rd, 2008Bristol City 2 v 1 Colchester United
A nine minute blizzard of goals saw Bristol come from one-nil down to lead two-one away at Colchester. The result sees Bristol climb to second and into the automatic promotion spots after Watford could only draw at home to Preston, and West Brom slipped up; losing two-one at home to Hull.
Colchester took the lead through Clive Platt, only for Adebola and then McIndoe to score for City. Bradley Orr saw red late on through a harsh second bookable offence but Bristol held on for an important three points.
Table:
Stoke 62 points from 34 games
Bristol 61 points from 34 games
Watford 60 points from 34 games
West Brom 55 points from 33 games
