City keeping agents’ fees low

The Football League have released their latest report keeping account of the amount clubs spend on agents’ fees.

Bristol City, the report finds, spent £250,300 on agents’ fees in the months July-December 07. This amount was spent on the 34 transactions (signing players, updating contracts and so on) that the club performed, giving an average £7,362 per transaction compared to the league average of £10,527.
