Bristol City vs Colchester United Match Preview

Things you didn’t know about Colchester United
1. No-one cares about them. Last season they achieved their highest ever league placing - 10th in the Championship. However no-one was there to see them do it - they recorded the Championship’s lowest average attendance.
2. Despite having no fans, the club have decided to move to a new stadium - at a place called ‘Cuckoo Farm’.
3. It’s been a tough season for them. Colchester currently sit third from bottom with only six wins all season (three home, three away). The Oystermen went out of both cups in their first match; both times losing to teams from League Two. On average they win once per month and have won once already for February. In the last twenty-two matches they have won only three times - that stretches back all the way to their best run of form - two wins from three in early October. Their last seven games have produced seven points.
4. A bright spot for them, and a note of caution for City, is however their wins against West Brom (3v2 at home) and Charlton (2v1 at home). Those are their only victories against teams presently in the top half of the table.
